All children need play, and friends to play with.

 

In play, children experience wonder, delight and freedom. It is a means of receiving Grace and responding in joy. The love of play is innate in each child, and different children play differently. There is diversity in play, and it is a beautiful thing.

WHAT WE DO.

​Our programming encourages children with different play preferences to learn from each other's play. We model inclusion and encourage conversations about diversity. We start with inclusion. A truly accessible space does not require accommodation.

WHO WE ARE​. ​

 

Wonder's Playground is a faith-inspired, volunteer-run, not-for-profit organization. Our programming does not include faith elements and all families and qualified volunteers are welcome. Wonder's Playground was founded by Shirley (a play therapist) and Jina (a parent of an autistic child).
